Clubhouse Child Care Center
Clubhouse....Caring....Convenient....Comfortable
Caring—The staff of Clubhouse really enjoys what they do and are committed to Daycare as their career. Many of our full-time staff have been with us since we opened. We enjoy nurturing the children and providing individual attention as well as organized group activities. As you know the first five years of life are very important to a child’s growth and development. This time sets the stage for success in school and later in life. During infancy and early childhood, we expose the children to many experiences and skills. It is important to us that each child development proceeds without problems. By conducting developmental screenings with every child at regularly scheduled intervals and then sharing the results with the parents, we can assist in your child’s development.
Convenient—Located near State Farm Corporate Headquarters, Country Insurance and Financial Services and OSF St. Joseph Medical Center. Both full and part-time care is available. Parents Time Away is offered every other Friday.
Comfortable—Clubhouse is a cozy center with “a home away from home atmosphere”. We have larger rooms with smaller groups of children. Children move up to the next level at the appropriate age and are never held back due to over enrollment. We extend the children’s learning to outside of the classroom as well. Children from ages 15 months and up go on regularly scheduled field trips.
Our Philosophy
We believe every child is a unique individual. Our staff’s responsibility is to help the child develop his/her social, emotional, physical, and educational skills to their fullest. These skills will be developed through interaction with loving, knowledgeable staff who are sensitive to each child’s personal needs. The curriculum is designed to help each child develop the confidence and independence needed to function in today’s world.

School-Age Before and After School (Kdg - 12 yrs)
The before and after school program reinforces skills learned at school, as well as provides a safe and comfortable environment for children to socialize and explore through art, music, literature, games and more! Open-ended projects allow kids to express their thoughts and feelings in ways that highlight their own individual talents and interests. Time is provided each day after school for reading, homework and quiet play. School holidays offer opportunities to delve into a wide range of subject areas such as Oceanography, Engineering, and Fine Art. Days off include a variety of field trips, games, discussions and projects.
School-Age Summer (Kdg - 12 yrs)
The summer program invites children to choose from particular areas of interest, such as Cool Chemistry, Creative Drama, First Aid and Gross-Out Science for hands-on investigation. Topics are enhanced by field trips, long term projects, and visits from members of our community. The summer also includes swimming, trips to local parks, and student-lead discussions. The summer concludes with an all-day cookout and field day.
